This site is for all visitors to the Girona area, which includes both the town of Girona and the beautiful Costa Brava and all the spectacular scenery up to the French border and almost as far south as the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.
It is meant to help you find places of interest, local festivals and interesting places to stay or dishes to try. It is to make you feel right at home in this wonderfully varied country and to get the most out of your visit. Ever since the Greeks and Romans discovered the area thousands of years ago they liked it so much they stayed and I’m sure you will do the same!
